Message from the Mayor Mr. Edward A. Stevenson
As Mayor of Allendale, I am delighted to welcome you to our esteemed Town. Our goal is to preserve our heritage and provide a sense of pride for future generations.
We have a progressive posture today that is mingled with yesterday’s legacy. Our citizens place a high value on preserving the character of our town in order to maintain our uniqueness as we grow. Come see our newly restored downtown area, historic district and authentic homes built in the early 1900’s.
Allendale reflects an ideal rural community with excellent schools and friendly neighborhoods. We are just an hour and a half drive from all the major shopping communities. Come visit us in person. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the great place Allendale is to visit, work and live.
